This Vitality matcha latte is perfect to start your day off right.  We love drinking matcha to add a little "pep" in our step, on the days that we are feeling the need for some caffeine. One of the reasons why we LOVE matcha so much, is because it has the amino acid L-Theanine in it. Matcha contains 5x the amount of L-Theanine compared to other green teas, and is is responsible for the slightly sweet notes on the taste palate. Vitality Pesto Vinaigrette

Pesto is one of our FAVE sauces over here at the Nourished By Heirloom headquarters. Add pesto to just about anything for a burst of freshness and flavour. We turned this traditional Italian sauce into a vinaigrette so it can be enjoyed on salads. The star ingredient in pesto is fresh basil which is an excellent source of Vitamin K, C, A, as well as manganese, calcium and magnesium.
